079. Butterfly Strong with Patti Moloney
Meet Patti Moloney! She is co-founder of DimplesCharms.com, a successful custom jewelry company, alongside her husband. For a long time, Patti believed that being sensitive was a liability until she realized that true strength is found in embracing your fragility and softheartedness. Patti employs her master’s degree in Counselling Psychology to help people lean into their subtle strengths, reframe what they believe are weaknesses, and live and lead with heart to build a stronger world. In today’s episode Patti shares: How society pushes the narrative that strength lies in physical power, but believes this idea is outdated and a limited view of the truth.“Butterfly Strong” is the idea that butterflies, with their fragile wings, travel 1000s of kms and overcome obstacles, persevere. One doesn’t need to be confident and assertive in order to be strong. Her journey into business and how she learned to stay in tune to her intuition to make good business ideas. She wasn’t the confident, assertive business owner she saw in so many others, and discusses how she learned to embrace her humility, vulnerability, and empathy in business. How important it is to be your true authentic self, and allow our differences to be our strengths. 075. Own Your Power with Aisha Saintiche
Meet Aisha Saintiche! Aisha is a Certified Health Coach and founder and owner of Me to Moi Health. Me to Moi Health (www.metomoi.com) is a coaching program that seeks to unpack the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual barriers that create barriers to achieving your optimal self. The true foundation of this work is the recognition that self-care is the true conduit to self-awareness, self-discovery, and self-actualization.   In today’s episode Aisha shares: The importance and significance of self-care as the conduit to self-discovery, self-awareness, and self-actualization, by going beyond spa days and massages. We often use self-care as an intervention, rather than a preventative measure. Self-care shows up in how we eat, how we move, how we interact with those we love, our boundaries. Self-care is about thriving, not surviving. She discusses how important it is to put yourself first, and challenges you to change the notion from “Have To” to “Get To”.She pours into you the idea of sisterhood, what it means to be healthy, to see yourself as worthy. Seeing our value, and placing importance on taking care of ourselves gives us permission to step into our purpose and power. The true practice of self-care sets a standard by which we operate, which at a minimum, assures we are always in a place of power as it pertains to our physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Owning your authentic power from within allows you to be as successful as you want to be, increases your confidence, allows you to create strong relationships in all areas of your life.  Would you like to connect with Aisha? Erin knows a lot of people are afraid to speak up about genetic diseases, infertility and depression, having kept those things a secret for a very long time herself. She is sharing her experiences now in the hope that she can inspire others going through similar things to know that they are not alone. Want to connect with Erin online?
