We often use self-care as an intervention, rather than a preventative measure. Self-care shows up in how we eat, how we move, how we interact with those we love, our boundaries. Self-care is about thriving, not surviving.
• She discusses how important it is to put yourself first, and challenges you to change the notion from “Have To” to “Get To”.
• She pours into you the idea of sisterhood, what it means to be healthy, to see yourself as worthy. Seeing our value, and placing importance on taking care of ourselves gives us permission to step into our purpose and power.
• The true practice of self-care sets a standard by which we operate, which at a minimum, assures we are always in a place of power as it pertains to our physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Owning your authentic power from within allows you to be as successful as you want to be, increases your confidence, allows you to create strong relationships in all areas of your life.
