Dr Lauren Burns is an Olympic gold medallist from Sydney 2000 in Tae Kwon Do, a sport that not many Australians would have thought about participating in, let alone winning a GOLD MEDAL AT THE OLYMPICS!

We talk about her “alternative” childhood, her fierce desire to ask questions and learn in all aspects of her life, her ability to ask for the space that she needed as an athlete, how she has been able to transition her learnings and passion from her sport into her career after AND LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST FIRST THOUGHTS AFTER WINNING A OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL I HAVE EVER HEARD.
