"Don Quixote" is a novel written by Miguel de Cervantes in the early 17th century. It tells the story of Alonso Quixano, a middle-aged man who lives in La Mancha, Spain. Quixano is an avid reader of books about knights and chivalry, and he becomes so enamored with these stories that he decides to become a knight himself. He dons an old suit of armor, renames himself Don Quixote, and sets out on a series of adventures to right wrongs and defend the helpless.
