Today we speak to one of our volunteers James Rickett. He runs our monthly Retro Gaming Night at The Crooked Tap as well as being global lead for anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance for the International Compliance Association. We talk about his important work, the impact he’s had on Menfulness and that Menfulness has had on him. We're grateful for how generous James has been with his story, he shares with us how he's battled with imposter syndrome, suicidal thoughts, losing people from his life and his own self image. We talk music, love and tips on making progress despite your struggles. It's an awesome conversation with an awesome human and we hope you enjoy it.

If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts you can call the Samaritans on 116 123 to talk about this - If you're in an emergency and your wellbeing is at risk you should call 999, if you're local to North Yorkshire you can call the NHS Crisis Team on 0800 0516171. These numbers are all open 24/7. There's people out there who care and are trained to for these conversations, please reach out. *
