First, the plaintiffs say they had to postpone their wedding because of COVID, so the defendant told them they could use the flower deposit they had given her for a future event. When they called to reschedule, the defendant had doubled her prices, so they’re suing for a full refund. The defendant claims the couple changed the flower arrangements, which added to the cost. Her deposits are nonrefundable, and she’s countersuing for the balance on the original contract. Then, the plaintiff says the defendant’s dog attacked her dog, which resulted in an injury and abscess that almost killed him. The insensitive defendant is trying to dodge responsibility, so she’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff’s dog bit his dog first, so his dog was just defending himself. He’s countersuing for harassment. Don’t forget to rate and subscribe so you never miss an episode. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
