Gene Bouie is a senior level management executive with extensive and diverse experience in strategic leadership, process management, business development, quality, operations, and customer service. He has over 40 years of leadership and management experience, retiring from ETS after serving in the role of Senior Director in the Graduate and College Programs business area.

Following his retirement from ETS, he founded Tahsin Consulting Group, LLC, a management consulting firm located in Trenton, NJ. Gene most recently had the honor of serving in the role of Director of Operations for the Henry J. Austin Health Center a FQHC also based in Trenton and now he serves as the Executive Director of the Training and Development Institute at the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey.

Gene acquired an Associate’s degree in Political Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, both from Thomas Edison State University. He also holds a Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification for the improvement of process quality. Gene also has a non-profit board consultant certification acquired through BoardSource in Washington, D.C.

He served as a Trustee for the Capital Area YMCA for nearly eight years, and functions as a member of the Trenton, N. J. School Board where he has served as Chair of the Board Operations and Finance Committee for the past six years. Currently Gene serves as an advisor of the African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County.
