In the latest episode of the FILMS I OWN BUT HAVEN'T WATCHED YET podcast, a special spin-off from WN MOVIE TALK PODCAST, I dive into another film from my ever-expanding DVD collection. This week, I randomly selected the 1983 film "Corrupt Lieutenant" starring Harvey Keitel and John (Johnny Rotten) Lydon. Join me as I watch it for the first time and share my review!

"Cop Killer" (1983), also known as "Order of Death," is a psychological thriller directed by Roberto Faenza. The film stars Harvey Keitel as Fred O'Connor, a corrupt New York police lieutenant who is deeply involved in shady dealings. John Lydon, better known as Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols, plays Leo Smith, a mysterious and unstable young man who confesses to a series of brutal murders of police officers. As O'Connor becomes entangled in Leo's twisted games, the lines between hunter and hunted blur, leading to a tense and unpredictable climax. The film explores themes of guilt, corruption, and the psychological cat-and-mouse game between its two leads, delivering a dark and gripping narrative.
