Mollie Tibbetts went for a run on a summer night in 2018. She never came home. A month later, her body was found not far from her running route in her hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa. Her disappearance sparked a massive search to find her that led to a campaign of kindness in her honor, known as Mollie's Movement. Two years later, that movement has expanded to include resources to help families with a missing loved one. In this episode, Denise talks to Joy VanLandschoot about the evolution of Mollie's Movement. They talk about the small town reaction to violent crime suddenly in their midst, the outpouring of love for Mollie for and by her family, plus the impact of the upcoming trial for the man accused of killing Mollie that summer night.
