In today’s edition of Views on the news From the Couch first reviews today’s news including CDC mask mandate extension, study on human life expectancy, Brooklyn shooting, Ukrainian missile hitting a Russian warship, busing immigrants to DC, Bill Maher’s take on runaway public spending, and Elon Musk offering to buy Twitter.

Next was a Continuation of the  conversation on what young children are taught in schools.

Most of this update was a review of watching Tuesday’s edition of Tucker Carlson.  This was balance for comments on Sunday’s edition of the Brian Stelter CNN show.  Free speech comments on the Musk/Twitter were interesting.  Other topics were covered including Canada’s effort to license news organizations.  That led to a non-licensed news organization interviewing an American who analyzed Vaccine adverse reaction data and thinks most Covid 19 adverse reactions were a result of very few manufacturing lots.
