Now, the Creative Communities Art Trail in Wayne County is bringing the art outdoors and onto the map for travelers, locals and more. The concept is to create points of interest along Route 191 north and south of Honesdale and establish sites to visit which serve as sources of pride for each community. This last weekend, dozens celebrated the dedication of Equinunk’s stop along the Creative Communities Art Trail. It’s at the Equinunk Historical Society along 191 north of Honesdale, a community steeped in history yes, but also with an artistic tale to tell.
