Episode 425: Exploring Ocean Worlds with Melissa Ugelow
When you think of an ocean, Earth is probably what comes to mind. But our planet isn’t necessarily the only world with water. NASA notes that moons, dwarf planets and comets can sustain water in various forms, from ice to water vapor. There is a lot of excitement about moons that orbit Jupiter and Saturn, since some of these worlds potentially have water that exists in a liquid state. Last week I had the opportunity to speak with Melissa Ugelow about her work on Titan, so download this episode and learn about some of the incredible work being done to explore the moons in our outer solar system.
