Growing up, she was shy and quiet, something she continues to improve on. But her optimistic attitude helped her improve herself. Tonya feels fulfilled when she can serve others, which happens every day at Dutch Bros. She started her career with Dutch Bros in her second year of college. While working there, Tonya set a goal that scared her; franchising from Dutch Bros. She didn't have the funds to do it, but by being passionate and working hard, Tonya knew she could achieve her goals. When the time came to open the store, Tonya was ready, and her mentors and friends encouraged and pushed her to do it. She is now happy that she can guide her coworkers and help them when they need her.

Chris Parrett, co-founder of Social Hustle, sits with us to share how he and his partner built a multimillion dollar social marketing company. Life for Chris started in Boulder, Colorado, but he and his family had to move a couple of times because of his dad's career. Chris learned to be an entrepreneur from his dad and wanted to start his own company one day. Chris got his bachelor's at Brigham Young University of Idaho. He then worked for a variety of companies and built up his skills. During this journey, he met his now partner, Dallin. Chris and Dallin have different personalities, so their dynamic works exceptionally. They are the perfect example of a visionary and an integrator, and that's how they have succeeded in building their company.

In this episode, we get to know Bo Brogan, owner of Snake River Barber Co. He grew up in New Plymouth, Idaho. Where how Bo would describe it, "We have more cows than people." Nevertheless, Bro loved growing up in a small town. Everyone is willing to help you. People know each other at a generational level. Bo struggled in school; subjects like English and History were hard. Without knowing why he felt like his classmates had an advantage. It wasn't until recently that he was diagnosed with dyslexia. Not one of the career paths Bo considered aligned with what he wanted to do in life. So he decided to take a year off and work. Later, during a trip to Arizona, he fell in love with the environment of the Personal Care Services and decided to pursue that.

In this episode, we sit down with Zak Warren to learn how he became the owner of Pearl Health Clinic and Pearl Group Homes. Zak's beginnings were rugged; growing up with a single teenage mother and meeting his dad when Zak turned 18 shaped him. Growing up, he was very interested in how people behave, think, and feel, which sparked his interest in psychology. His professional studies pursuing that career began at Purdue University in Indiana. Then he attended a small liberal arts college in St.Paul, Minnesota, Concordia University. Being the first of his family to graduate with a bachelor's and later a master's was a great achievement. So he looked for a mentor who later became a long lasting friend.

In this episode, we learn from one of the youngest business owners we have had in the podcast, Kevin Fogg, owner of Vantage Point Home Inspections. Growing up, he wanted to be a business owner and started his home inspection company at 21. After living in Guatemala for two years, he saw the different living conditions there. It was shocking for him to see how they handled electrical and plumbing. He says, "It was a nightmare." But he learned to be outgoing and appreciate his life back home. After Kevin returned from Guatemala, he decided to chase the love of his life in Brazil. Working two jobs at a time and starting his own business allowed him to visit her.

In this episode, we sit down with Haley Roisum, owner of Roisum Residential Photography. She always had ideas of opening a business during her time in school. Haley even had an Etsy store at some point. After graduating from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a bachelor's in Child Development and a minor in Psychology, she got Real Estate and marketing knowledge. While working with a marketing team, Haley felt she needed higher compensation for her creativity and asked for a raise. When that didn't happen, she decided to give herself a raise. She started a photography business with her husband and now manages other companies with other partners.

In this episode we sit down with Sara Hart, owner of Generations Salon in Idaho Falls. Sara's family has a history in the industry of cosmetology, but Sara didn't really get into it until after working a variety of jobs. Sara and her mother were at work when they got informed that the location was soon to be demolished for new construction. This opened her eyes and she decided to open a hair salon business. She wanted to provide the quality of service she wanted and not work for anyone else.

In this episode, we sit down with Devin Homer, owner of Homer Real Estate. While working an hourly job and moving up the ladder, he quickly noticed that his growth had a limit. He then decided to make a drastic change and jump into Real Estate. After a rough patch in getting his license, he joined Top-Notch Real Estate. Being one of the first agents in the team opened his eyes to the endless opportunities available when one thinks outside of the box, in terms of career paths. Which eventually led him to start his own team.
