I wanted to get this one released while the album was still new. I apologize for the long absence. There will be new proper episodes soon. I just got a backlog of Outkast, Prince, Dead Kennedys, Men At Work, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Aerosmith, David Gilmour, and U2.

An obvious third category regarding ELO, but we decided to tackle our favorite usages of strings in rock/pop music. Which does have some overlap with ELO, of course.

With a band with as much classics under their belt as ELO, sometimes picking our favorite songs was difficult.

For Soren's birthday month of May, he picked Electric Light Orchestra due to a longstanding connection to their music that extends all the way back to childhood. As always, special thanks to Victor, our outside co-editor!

To cap off our Judas Priest-related adventures, we tackle Glenn Tipton's two forgotten attempts at a solo album that were recorded in-between *Painkiller* and *Jugulator*. And honestly, these are both pretty damn mid.

While they have one bona-fide classic live album under their belts, Judas Priest's record with live albums is one of highs and lows. What all does everyone here think of them? Note, the thumbnail is from the first documented time that Rob and Ripper actually met face-to-face after Ripper saw Rob's solo band live during Ripper's tenure in Judas Priest.

It stands to reason that we've also had plenty of ink to spill on our fave tunes from these iconic Birmingham metal legends!

Our longest episode to date (at least until a certain Purple Yoda from the heart of Minnesota) is one where all four of us regale praise, legacy, history, anecdotes, and surprises about the iconic British Steelers: Judas Priest. Special thanks to Victor Mich from Fiverr, who played a key hand in editing the audio levels of this beast of an episode. Even then, I still had a final comb-through (mostly to add asides and some contextual bits I missed in the heat of the moment).

To give a teaser for the soon-to-be uploaded slate of shenanigans involving heavy metal icons Judas Priest, we decided to try something different. To summarize, each of us had to pick a unique Judas Priest show setlist--and no songs could be shared between us.

Since this is our first major prog act (and we're all big prog-heads), we decided to do a love-fest for the genre.

With a discog as large as that of Jethro Tull's, we did something a little different. Except Soren, who didn't quite get the memo. But he's still good--just gotta keep the conversation flowing!

Since most of us showed up in the Discord chat early before Soren arrived, the three of us decided to shoot-the-shit about the RRHOF's Class of 2024 before beginning to record Judas Priest. As you'll soon see, this may slowly become our most wildly off-course set of tangents yet. Since we end up talking less about the Class of 2024 and more of systemic gripes with the RRHOF itself.

Inspired by Ed's victory over the Marvin Gaye estate, we've listed some notable and sometimes infamous cases of musical plagiarism that (more often than not) made it to a courtroom.

What can I say? Ed has a lot of strong singles.

Our first foray into contemporary pop surprised us: we liked Ed Sheeran more than we expected.
