The Banksia Project is focussed on early intervention in men's mental health, and together with mental health professionals, industry leaders and professional bodies across Australia, they work to create a more supportive, more proactive approach to men's mental health. They are working to create best practice and practical solutions to drive community support, increase awareness, encourage positive lifestyle choices and facilitate ongoing, group based support. Jack and I discuss the increasing prevalence of mental health issues in our Eastern Suburbs communities as well as the practical steps you can take to help manage your own mental health.
