Hi Community! In this weeks episode we're being honest with ourselves and acknowledging the part we've played in the demise of relationships previously shared with others. And embrace that some relationships are seasonal, which is perfectly okay. Being honest and reflective allows for an opportunity to identify certain patterns and the traumas they are rooted in and then work on them. A failure to acknowledge the part you have played in a relationship reaching a certain state and then ending will have you repeating the same mistakes in new relationships. Which is not something we want at all. So be committed to working on yourself so that who you expose others to is a version of you that is intentional and is always looking to do better.

Hi Community. We’ve reached the end of the season! Isn’t that just a little wild? In the in-between and process of season 3 so much has changed,so much has had to go and so much has come to life for me. Which is exactly why I thought it would be fitting for me to say goodbye to season 3 with a reflection of the year. 2023 has been long and hard. Scary and exciting. I have cried more tears than I even have in my adult life. So much has changed and I am slowly but surely adjusting to it all! According to my faith and belief, those are things generously given by God and according to me, they are meant to be used to do good. To serve. You know those things you have easy access to on a daily basis? Your bed, the food that you have to eat, your car, the education you are receiving, the money you have in your bank account, and the time you have to spend with your loved ones they too are gifts but I like to refer to them as blessings. Hi Community! Being intentional about what you do,why you do it and how you do it is so important in achieving a peaceful and fulfilling life. Without intention it is so easy to end up being comfortable and complacent. It’s easy to just say without actually doing anything.  Living intentionally has a lot to do with taking action. Things like knowing who you are and working towards constantly improving your relationship with yourself. Knowing your values.Knowing the path you are tying to follow. Creating the vision and following through on it. It has to do with really peeling back the layers even in the face of the unknown and taking full responsibility for who you choose to continue being. I have found that my life is requiring more from me. More intention and more being actively present in my relationship with myself. Hi Community! There is so much beauty and love in being kind and supportive to your loved ones. However it is not good nor is it healthy to try and change them to suit your more likeable  idea of them. In this weeks episode we delve into why we can often end up wanting to “fix” people,what that can look like and the very negative implications of that.  It is so unfair to treat people like they are projects or like they are broken. It is also unfair to you to burden yourself with wanting to “fix” or change a person into what you believe they can be. Trying to change a person can and will most likely result in one person resenting the other.  If a person or people do not align with who you are and the values you hold;release them. If it is potential that you are drawn to when it comes to people,then you need to reflect on that decision. A lot is always happening...within us as individuals, in our communities, workplaces, in the world and some of these things can be the reason why we struggle to feel motivated or to even feel hopeful. Or why we struggle to see that it is just a season that will eventually come to an end. Sometimes it is even hard to find any motivation or see the light at the end of the tunnel. In those moments the one thing we can do for ourselves is to just be kind...just be kind to yourself. Show your self that extra love, be compassionate towards yourself. Be extra patient with yourself and remember that it comes to an end eventually and things do get better, even if it is a little bit at a time.
