THE LOOK OF FAITH: Lessons from Numbers 21 | S1:EP31
As Christians, we often face challenges and obstacles that can lead to discouragement and even complaining. However, in Numbers 21, we see Moses raising up a serpent, which is a picture of Jesus on the cross. The serpent was made of brass, which is symbolic of judgment and sin. Jesus, who knew no sin, became sin for us. He took all the sickness, pain, and suffering of the world on himself and took the punishment of death on himself. Then, he rose again from the dead. Jesus is the solution to all our problems. Whatever our situation is today, Jesus is the solution. He is the essence of our prayers, the door to get it, the power that authorises it, the substitute that provides it, the Name that empowers it, and the blood that paid for it.
Numbers 21:8-9 | John 3:14
