In conversation with RJ Raunac, Colonel Vijayant Kumar opens up about the events of 11th April 1989, on Siachin Glacier where the enemy attacked his post. Minus 50 degrees temperature, extremely low oxygen levels and his weapon sustaining cold arrest. There were multiple challenges that day but Col Vijayant trumped them all.

For his conspicuous courage and valour in the face of the enemy, Colonel Vijayant Kumar became a recipient of the Vir Chakra. In this video, he appeals to the nation to come forth for the soldiers who protect the nation's honouor & contribute to The Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
