Using powers only available to a Chief Enforcer, Chevalier revives a heku that Emily once turned to ash.  He plans on using this heku to show Emily how to control her abilities.  He begins the arduous task of getting Emily to understand what she’s done to heku in her past and what she’s capable of.

Emily takes the news hard, and shuts down as she sifts through years of lies and tries to find the truth.  When she’s finally introduced to the heku Chevalier revived, things begin to slowly fall into place.
