The New Space Race - Part 2
We are in a new era of space exploration with a multitude of missions to the moon. The first crewed mission to land on the moon in over 50 years, is planned to be launched in 2025. This podcast series is about the Cold War space race and the new millennium space race. It starts at the beginning of the 20th century, follows the development during WW2, and the Cold War space race through the 1950's to the end of the 1960's. It continues up to the end of the Cold War in the early 1990's, and follows the period thereafter. Finally, this series covers the new millennium space race, and what the plans look like for the future.
