Cathy and Scott had decided before they got married that they wanted to serve a mission as a couple. The opportunity came at an unexpected time but perfectly worked out. Scott sold his practice and Cathy prepared the family for their temporary leave of family events. They were called to serve in the Philippines for 18 months. Their assignment was as member leader support. While in the Philippines, Scott helped in the organization of 8 Branches and 1 Stake. Cathy taught piano lessons and helped the branches secure 17 keyboards for their Sunday services. Cathy also worked with prospective missionaries that desired to prepare to go and serve the Lord. The miracles that happened are wonderful.
