Leland Steel grew up in a suburb of Vancouver, BC, Canada. He was a stereotypical introvert and enthusiast of nerdy things, keeping a close-knit group of friends who spent their time playing street hockey, video games, Magic: The Gathering, and board games, as well as consuming all kinds of films. This group of friends became known as T-Hud, a very "clever" abbreviation for The Neighbourhood, since they all lived on the same street.It wasn't until his early- to mid-20s that he got into TTRPGs and the hobby tabletop gaming industry.
