After a career as one of the of the country's most innovative and progressive law enforcement officials, Adrian Garcia is now a member of the Harris County Commission, where he represents one of the most diverse and fastet growing districts in the greater Houston area. During our conversation, Commissioner Garcia spoke at length about his personal discontent with bureacracy and the status quo, the importance of collaboration, and his unique approach to improving community safety, mental health, and economic mobilty at the same time.
