Texas gun signed into law.Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill Wednesday to allow holstered handguns to be carried in Texas without a permit, delivering a victory for gun advocates and the party’s conservative wing.Beginning Sept. 1, House Bill 1927 will allow anyone 21 years old or older to legally possess a firearm in Texas to carry a handgun in public without a permit. Current state law allows residents 21 or older to have a gun only after completing the required training and criminal background check to obtain a license to carry.Abbott will hold a bill signing ceremony at the Alamo in San Antonio on Thursday for the permitless carry measure and several other gun bills. He's expected to be joined by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, House Speaker Dade Phelan, Republican lawmakers, and National Rifle Association representatives.LEAKED Call EXPOSES Joe Manchin's CorruptionJoe Manchin gave the remarks on a Zoom teleconference session that was obtained by The Intercept. The meeting was hosted by the group No Labels, a big-money operation co-founded by former Sen. Joe Lieberman that funnels high-net-worth donor money to conservative Democrats and moderate Republicans. Among the gathering’s newsworthy revelations: Manchin described an openness to filibuster reform at odds with his most recent position that will buoy some Democrats’ hopes for enacting their agenda.https://theintercept.com/2021/06/16/joe-manchin-leaked-billionaire-donors-no-labels/McConnell Covers Up CRAZIEST Economic Data Leak Of The Decade!McConnell blasts ProPublica tax leak, says whoever is responsible should be 'hunted down and thrown into jail.'Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Monday called for legal action against anyone responsible for leaking the tax records of the super-wealthy to ProPublica. In a recent ProPublica report, the publication detailed how billionaires such as Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Warren Buffett have largely avoided paying a substantial amount of income taxes. The report cited "an anonymous source" who provided the publication "with large amounts of information on the ultrawealthy, everything from the taxes they paid to the income they reported to the profits from their stock trades."Duringan interview on conservative host Hugh Hewitt's radio show, McConnell rebuked the disclosure of the tax records of some of the most affluent Americans in the country and called for consequences for the perpetrators.

Texas Democrats pull EPIC last-minute move to save state’s electionsTexas Democrats pulled off a dramatic, last-ditch walkout in the state House of Representatives on Sunday night to block the passage of one of the most restrictive voting bills in the U.S., leaving Republicans with no choice but to abandon a midnight deadline and declare the legislative session essentially over. The revolt is one of the Democrats' biggest protests to date against GOP efforts nationwide to impose stricter election laws, and they used the spotlight to urge President Joe Biden to act on voting rights. But the victory may be fleeting: Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who had declared new voting laws a priority in Texas, quickly announced he would order a special session to finish the job. He called the bill’s failure “deeply disappointing” but did not say when he would drag lawmakers back to work. The story made me feel good. Texas Democrats show some strengthen to stop SB7 or Texas Voter suppression law. Passage of SB 7, which would have introduced several changes like the closure of drive-thru voting and new limited voting hours on Sundays, seemed confident before the walkout. The Texas state senate even approved the measure early Sunday morning, adding a last-minute edit that would have made it easier for a judge to overturn an election.Democrats need to kill the filibuster.Joe Madison needs to be primaried. The party needs to wake up. Mid-term elections are less than a year away. Republicans will use the democrat’ inability to pass the law in the midterms to gain more seats in the house. GOP blocks Capitol riot probe, displaying loyalty to Trump. Senate Republicans on Friday blocked creation of a bipartisan panel to investigate the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, displaying continuing party loyalty to former President Donald Trump and firm determination to shift the political focus away from the violent insurrection by his GOP supporters. The Senate vote was 54-35 — six short of the 60 needed — to take up a House-passed bill that would have formed an independent 10-member commission evenly split between the two parties. It came a day after emotional appeals for the commission from police who fought the mob, the family of an officer who died, and lawmakers in both parties who fled Capitol chambers in the worst attack on the building in two centuries.Ted Cruz sucksTed Cruz says that children can utilize a gun in self-defense. Naomi Osaka is a Japanese professional tennis player. Osaka has been ranked No. 1 by the Women's Tennis Association and is the first Asian player to hold the top ranking in singles.Tulsa race massacreIncidentThe Tulsa race massacre took place May 31 and June 1, 1921, when mobs of white residents, many of them deputized and given weapons by city officials, attacked Black residents and businesses of the Greenwood District Tulsa, Oklahoma, US. Alternatively known as the Black Wall Street Massacre, the Greenwood Massacre, the Tulsa Massacre, the Tulsa pogrom, or the Tulsa race riot, it marks one of "the single worst incident(s) of racial violence in American history.” The attack carried out on the ground and from private aircraft destroyed more than 35 square blocks of the district – at that time, the wealthiest Black community in the United States, known as "Black Wall Street.”
