Welcome to Episode Two of Brewtal Bands To Watch For RECAP March 2021.
We've been fortunate enough to have so many sick bands thus far in Brewtal's lifespan support the show and we wanted to make sure they got one more episode of airtime!
Each month either Todd or Arie will recap the songs that were featured on Brewtal, give a little more insight into the track, and let you hopwolves do the beer sippin and head bangin!

Episode 11: For Those Who Wish To Get In the Pit
Design The Void was started in 2016 by Josh Johnson, and Koden Thompson, they released the Visionary EP, and Ebon soul with a host a several other members throughout the bands life span. In late 2019 Josh, Jeff and Jesse started a side project called Messages Through Lights, a stranger things themed concept band. After losing a vocalist in DTV though Josh proposed a merger between the side project and DTV, the rest is history. Since the merger they've released the Messages Through Lights EP, and the single phantoms.
Design The Void in it's current iteration is Joshua Johnson (drums/production), Jeff Pinnachio (guitar/writing), Koden Thompson(guitar), and Jesse Isadore (vocals/lyrics)

SHIVER is a four-piece Metal band from Erie, PA. Brian, Henry and Joshua formed the band in 2016 because their friendship, love of music, booze, and gear! After multiple vocalist they found their guy Tyler. SHIVER is for fans that are not into NICKELBACK, CREED, and MGK even though those are their top three. 1000 Beers!

Episode 13: Let's Get Ready to Rumbbllleeee
Nicolas Cage Fighter was formed in Ballarat in 2011, after a few years of playing shows. We put out our debut EP titled '3350'. We toured heavily off that, playing shows with bands such as Thy Art Is murder, I declare war, Attila and iwrestledabearonce to name a few. The band called hiatus in 2015. In 2019 we were asked to play a reunion show at a local venue that was closing down. After that show we decided to continue. We put out two tracks at the start of 2020 titled 'Hell In Me' and followed it up with our brand new record 'Cast You Out'.

Episode 14: A Death Wall of Pillows
Fast, brutal, slamming and with a distinct message in their music: Necrotted from southern Germany are a bearer of hope for modern death metal!
Founded back in 2008, the band from Abtsgmünd (Baden-Wuerttemberg) still invigorates the scene and continuously convinces its growing fan base as well as the music press. Not only the three full-length albums ‘Anchors Apart’ (2012), ‘Utopia 2.0’ (2014) and ‘Worldwide Warfare’ (2017) and the two EPs ‘Kingdom Of Hades’ (2010) and ‘Die For Something Worthwhile’ (2019) are registered in the band’s history, but also hundreds of live concerts in different countries in which Necrotted already unleashed their pure energy on various stages.
Sweeping and melodic guitar riffs combined with blaring blast beats and rough, stomping slam parts form the brutal mixture of the quintet. The musical sound is rounded off by deep and high-pitched guttural vocals, emphasizing the catchy refrains and lyrical highlights of the songs. The new album ‘Operation: Mental Castration’ follows this trend and consistently enhances the soundscape of the band. Also, the album once again comes up with a sophisticated lyrical concept, characteristic for Necrotted.
Written and recorded in 2020, ‘Operation: Mental Castration’ will be released through the aspiring label Reaper Entertainment Europe in early 2021 and will set a new benchmark for modern, diversified death metal.
