Deirdre Mitchell-MacLean is a freelance journalist and host of the Political RnD podcast. She has had her finger directly on the pulse of Alberta politics since 2015, and has met and worked with some of the province’s biggest names along the way.

She is a former board member for the Alberta Party, a former employee of Derek Fildebrandt at his media outlet, The Western Standard, and has made a name for herself as a well-respected voice in media.

Deirdre joins The Forgotten Corner this week to discuss a wide range of topics, from her life growing up in Alberta to her foray into journalism. Deirdre candidly speaks about her past endeavours and talks about how they shaped the journalist she is today. She discusses her venture into podcasting and the new segment on her show called Women in #ABpoli.
