Paddling of Prayer

“The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain...See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers..’ Deuteronomy 1:6-8

Like Israel, we are either
- Suffering as slaves
- Struggling as survivors
- Succeeding as soldier

Desperation got me out of suffering but only desire can get me out of surviving. Pain fueled my desperation. Prophetic word fuels my desire.

1. Praise to God
2. Penance from sin
3. Partnership with Holy Spirit
4. Paddling promises
5. Petitions

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck 1 Timothy 1:18-19

Pray out of promises, not only out of problems.
