Life can be challenging, and we fail. When this happens, we should always ask ourselves the question; Why? When we ask the why question we ate prompted to seek an answer. (The Word of God is not void of answers). That is how we learn and avoid the repetition of the same mistake. Sometimes the reason we fail is that we failed to seek counsel.

It's easy to make decisions especially if we believe that we know exactly what we want or how we want it done, but do we seek council? Not just any council, but godly council. We so often forget our seniors and the wealth of knowledge that they carry. John Maxwell wrote a book entitled Today Matters, a book that I have read and enjoyed. A book that helped me to understand that every decision that we make, affects tomorrow. It doesn't matter the nature of that decision, be it good or bad, we will reap the results.

Love cannot be hidden, no matter how hard we try. God wants to know the measure of our love to Him.

We all want the best of things but do we seek to give the best to others? That's a question we all need to ask ourselves as we continue to look at loving our neighbour as ourselves.

Picking up on our previous conversation, about loving our neighbour. We want to ensure that the loving of ourselves is not conceited, but pure clean love, the same kind that we have for our neighbour.

It's not possible to love our neighbour the way that God commanded us to if we don't love ourselves, why? We can only give love when we love ourselves... that's the commandment.

There are so many times that we encounter fear, but we are reminded that we don't need to be afraid. God had given us the strength and courage that we need to rise over fear.

Waiting can be such a challenge, but even more so waiting on the Lord. We ofttimes become anxious and lose focus when required to wait. It's important to note that our faith is increased as we wait on the Lord.
